Overview
In this module we'll continue to build your cognitive framework about arthritis but this time osteoarthritis. The goal is to get you to really understand the presentation of osteoarthritis. Then you'll really have a good base to compare the presentations of degenerative and inflammatory conditions.
Learning Objectives
After completing this module, the participant will demonstrate the ability to:
- Describe a prototypical patient with degenerative arthritis, such as osteoarthritis, including what type of people usually develop it, how the disease typically starts, what joints it affects, how it progresses, and what constitutional features are present?
